I’m a writer and creative living out my creative ambitions across the U.S. and Europe.

Forever the dreamer at the back of the class scribbling away on a crazy story, obsessed with creativity in all its forms, I’m exploring the boundaries of what it means to create from a place of total abandon—not just memorizing notes or steps, but pursuing the most important piece of the creative puzzle: FREEDOM.

Freedom to create whatever you want, without fear of getting it “wrong”—whatever that means. Because it’s in this free flow space where the magic happens, that has the power to change everything you create, including your life.

For the last several years, I’ve been on a quest to harness that freedom—and after years of traveling to beautiful destinations and soaking up all the wonder around me—I’m now on a mission to not just share, but show all I’ve learned on the way.

Along with my Instagram, this site (and its new and improved version coming soon) is dedicated to celebrating creativity, style, and a search for transcendence, wherever in the world you are.

For more on me…

After graduating with a BA in English and creative writing from the University of Colorado-Boulder, I took a job teaching English in Florence, Italy. It was in the Tuscan hills where my love of writing and traveling merged into a career, one that sent me exploring hidden gardens off the tourist maps, and secrets hiding behind façades. I’ve been fortunate to write for wonderful publications and attend great workshops along the way, including the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and Paris Writers’ Workshop summer programs.

My first novel, a YA contemporary fantasy, is a celebration of my travels and the winner of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators’ 2021 Clare Vanderpool Promising Novel Scholarship. Set against the backdrop of the woods near my home, the story collides the two worlds I know best, connecting people and cultures through the thread of creativity.
